It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bernadine Thompson of Duryea, Pennsylvania, born in Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 8, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael Kostak and Mary Kostak; and her sister Janice Sheerin. She is survived by: her children, Maureen Taroli (Louis) of Duryea, James Thompson (Charlene) of Clarks Summit and Michael Thompson (Lisa) of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; her granddaughter Angie Kostak; and her siblings, Mary Ann Razzano, Michael Kostak, Leonard Kostak, Joan Snyder of Wilkes-Barre and Joseph Kostak of Wilkes-Barre. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
