He was predeceased by: his parents, Nicholas John and Theresa M. Angel (Koehler); and his siblings, Charles Francis Angel, Richard John Angel, George Angel, Thomas Angel, William Angel, Rose White, Theresa "Tessy" Angel and Margaret Menary.

He is survived by: his brother Regis Michael; his sister-in-law Maureen Angel; and his sisters, Catherine "Dolly" O'Keefe (late John) and Martha "Martie" Angel. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
