He is survived by: his wife Anne Marie Harris (McLaughlin); his children, Robert (Christine), Laura J. Ackerman (Duquesne) and Heather Harris (West Mifflin); his grandchildren, Autumn Ackerman, Dylan Ackerman (Pittsburgh), Zachary (Lauren), Harris (Bethel Park), Jarreth (Megan), Robert Ackerman (Sierra), Julianne Ackerman (Christian Bruns), AJ Ackerman (Natalie) and Nico Ackerman (Elizabeth); his great grandchildren, Harley, Leo and Lucas; and his siblings, William Roy Harris, Jane Ann (Anthony) DiMenno (Braddock Hills), Stuart James (late Cynthia) and Margaret Scott Harris (David Kibler).
Viewing was held on Thursday, October 17th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory Inc. (1638 Lincoln Way, White Oak, PA 15131). A celebration of life was held on Friday, October 18th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Park Baptist Church (749 Center St, McKeesport, PA 15132).
