With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Jean A. Capristo of Duquesne, Pennsylvania, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael Petriske and Anna Petriske (Dubyak); her husband Edward Capristo; and her siblings, Geraldine Shomo (late John), Charlotte Napoli (late Joe), George "Roach" Petriske and Michael "Cookie" Petriske.
She is survived by: her sons, Edward R. "Rocky" Capristo (Patti) of Newark, DE and Joseph D. "Dan" Capristo of Duquesne; her granddaughter Katie Capristo; and her sisters, Caroline Cyrus of Penn Hills, Florence Haley (late William) of North Huntingdon and Rose Pisciottano (Nick) of Eighty Four, PA.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, March 14th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Maloy-Schleifer Funeral Home (915 Kennedy Ave, Duquesne, PA 15110). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the St. Joseph Church (817 Grant Ave, Duquesne, PA 15110).
