She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert W. Bierer and Ella Ruth Bierer (Morrison); and her nephew Brad Collins. She is survived by: her son Jason M. Thompson of Wilkinsburg; her siblings, Scott R. Bierer (Catherine) of Delmont and Connie Collins-Davis (Jacob) of Richmond; and her nephews, Corey Bierer, Jesse Bierer, Matt Collins and Tres Davis.
