He was predeceased by: his parents, Meredith Smith and Jessie Smith (Grace); and his siblings, Donald "Chuck" Pirl, Olive Smith, Meredith Smith, William Smith, John Smith and Kenneth Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Smith (Freeman) of Duquesne; his children, Daniel Hamilton of New Kensington, Olive Hamilton (Scott) of Duquesne, Kevin Hamilton of Penn Hills, Crystal Smith of Duquesne, Derrick Hamilton of Pittsburgh, Amanda Hamilton of Duquesne, Glen E. Smith Jr. of Duquesne, Donald Smith of Duquesne and Ella Smith of Pittsburgh; his siblings, Dolores Charles (late Bobby) of East McKeesport, Icy Smith of McKeesport, Vernon Smith (Trish) of Turtle Creek and Jessie Smith of Basley; and his friend Adrian Dunston. He is also survived by 40 Grandchildren; many Great Grandchildren.
