He was predeceased by: his father Joseph B. Givens; his grandson Savoy Brown; and his siblings, Lucille Ross, Eugene Brown, Joseph Givens Jr., Helen Scott, Beatrice Murphy and Juanita Hampton.
He is survived by: his mother Anna Givens; his son George Edward Brown Jr. of Duquesne; his grandchildren, Katherine, Jazmin, Britney, Patrisha, Morgan, Qiuana Brown, Tiffany Bussie, Cassandra Taylor, Toi, Corey Brown, Kenny Cottingham and Eugene Patterson; and his brother Samuel "Jack" Givens (Jackie) of Elizabeth Twp. He is also survived by his parents and spouse.
