He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Petersen and Cecila Cabon Petersen; and his brother Daniel Petersen. He is survived by: his sons, Brenden Petersen of Pinellas County, FL, Derek Petersen of Elizabeth and Jordan Petersen (Alexis) of Clairton; his sisters, Kathleen Kovtun (George) of Clairton, Eileen Rossi (John) of Clairton and Sharon Doyle (Jim) of North Versailles; and his grandchildren, Julian, Sterling, Halsley, Zayla, Logan, Roman and Damian. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
