He is survived by: his wife Anita Shanley (Godine); his sons, Daniel J. Shanley Jr. of Irwin, Richard Thomas Shanley of Whitaker and Joseph Michael Shanley of Duquesne; his grandchildren, Amber Shanley, Cameron Shanley, Brandon Ausbrook, Brittany Fallon and Austin Kirkey; his siblings, Noreen Bertoty (Victor) of Bridgeville, Patrick "Tommy" Shanley (Janny) of Duquesne and Michael Shanley (Evelyn) of West Mifflin; and his daughter-in-law Florence Shanley of West Mifflin. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
