He is survived by: his wife Lenore Calderone; his friend Bill W.; his children, Dr. Jean Ruddy, Thomas Ruddy (Venus) of Marietta, GA, Timothy Ruddy (Kimberly) of Plantation, FL and Dr. Daniel Ruddy (Susan Habas) of Arvada, CO; his grandchildren, Braden, Kailyn, Emmit Ruddy, Olivia, Marilyn Ruddy, Lainey and Nora Coyne; and his cousin Mary Ellen Cawley.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children and St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
