It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Steward Beavers of Dunmore, Pennsylvania, who passed away on February 18, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Christopher Beavers and Matilda Freeman Beavers; his wife Susan Suray Beavers; his grandson Michael; and his siblings, James, Ernest, Kenneth, Clayton, Grace Wrzeszewski, Pearl Hineline and Madeline Powell.

He is survived by: his daughter Barbara; his son-in-law Michael Sofranko; and his grandsons, David (Kerri), Joseph (Justine) and James (Lindsay). He is also survived by four great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers a donation may be made to the Disabled American Veterans or the Wounded Warrior Project.
