We are sad to announce that on February 27, 2025, Paul N. Scarnato of Dunmore, Pennsylvania, born in Scranton, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Gregg Scarnato and Caroline Vakay Scarnato Sr. of Ann's Basilica; and his sister Mary Lou Flowers. He is survived by: his wife Joy Scarnato; his children, Dominick Scarnato and Desiree Huffsmith (John); and his brother Gregg Scarnato (Lori). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Wounded Warrior Foundation or any military organization.

“I was deeply saddened to hear of Paul Scarnato's passing, he was one of my best friends and he will be missed by all who knew him! We both served in the Pennsylvania National Guard in Carbondale Pennsylvania and we attended Fort Polk for basic training. No one could ask for a better friend than Paul Scarnato, who was well respected by all who knew him!”
