Leona Fidiam Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leona Fidiam of Dunmore, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 23, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Thomas Williams and Catherine Elko Williams; her husband Tom; and her sisters, Constance Lashevicki and Margaret Wilford.
She is survived by: her children, Thomas Fidiam (Minneapolis), Cathy Fidiam Chiumento (Yatesville) and Susan Fidiam (Leona); her grandchildren, Katie Fidiam, Anna Chiumento (Yatesville) and Maura Chiumento Chabala of Albrightsville; and her sisters, Doris Goula (Dupont) and Jo Ann Long. She is also survived by her children and grandchildren.
All those attending the Mass are kindly asked to follow current safety guidelines by observing physical distancing and wearing a mask. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, there will be no visitation hours and interment at the Dunmore Cemetery will be private.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Friends of the Poor in Leona's name to 148 Meridian Ave. Scranton, Pa 18504.
