She was predeceased by: her parents, John B. Sr. Dempsey and Kathleen "Geary" Nealon Dempsey; and her brother Jimmy "Jazz" Dempsey. She is survived by: her cousins, Dr. Edward Cullen and Dr. William Dempsey; her brothers, Jack Dempsey (Nancy) and Richard Dempsey (Kim); her sons, Richard Jr. (Michelle) and Mitchell; her sister-in-law Mary Walsh Dempsey; her nieces and nephews, Jamie, Abigail, Clare and Dorothy; her brother Jerry Dempsey (Diana); her sister Jane D. Riggi (Vincent); her children, Jimmy (Melanie), Delia Walsh (Paul) and Matthew; her brother Robert N. Dempsey (Ellen); her sons, Jake and Bobby Jr.; and also J. J.. She is also survived by 20 great-nieces and nephews; 21 first cousins that were raised as siblings; numerous godchildren.
Memorial donations may be sent to Goodwill NEPA in Kathy's name.
