With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joseph Cerra of Dunmore, Pennsylvania, born in Carbondale, Pennsylvania, who passed away on July 27, 2021 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Cerra and Rose Adams Cerra; his son Charles Cerra; and his siblings, Marie Lapera, Cecilia Tolerico, Thomas and Michael Cerra.
He is survived by: his wife Grace Urso; his daughter Rose Mary Cerra; his grandchildren, Charlene Cerra (Kenneth Crouch), Trooper and Cassie Walsh (Matthew); his great grandchildren, Jackson Crouch, Theo and Charlie Walsh; his brother Dean Cerra; his daughter-in-law Cathy Cerra; his sisters-in-law, Pam Schwartz (Stan), Landsdale and Mary Urso; and his goddaughter Marianne Long. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
