He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis "Bud" Barrett and Evelyn Margaret "Peggy" Barrett; his brother John Barrett; and his close friend Newfoundland. He is survived by: his grandchildren, Colton, Brayden, Emmersen, Claire, Olivia, Arya, Madelyn and Emily; and his sisters, Barbara A. Jordan (Tom) of Scranton and Mary Elizabeth "Betsy" Laffey (Pat) of Scranton. He is also survived by three daughters and one son.
