She was predeceased by: her parents, Elias Hryshko and Mary Galician Hryshko; her children, Eric, Elias and Holly Sorensen; and her granddaughter Kelly Sledzinski.

She is survived by: her husband Henry Hinz (Bud); her children, Ann Sledzinski (Mike), Bonnie McCormick (Bill), Lynn Cunningham (Alan), Ellen Raguckas (Steve), Betsy Palko (Joe) and Henry Hinz (Christina); her son-in-law Darryl Sorensen; and her grandchildren, Michael, Corinna, James, Elizabeth, Bryne, Joseph, Jessica, Cody, Devyn, Jacob, Kevyn, Katelyn, Hailey, Henry and Hope.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to a charity of choice in memory of Evelyn.
