She was predeceased by: her husband James A.; her parents, John P. Gilroy and Florence Dux Gilroy; and her siblings, John Gilroy and Mary Elizabeth Riley.
She is survived by: her sister Helen G. Yearing; and her stepchildren, Sandra (David Kline), Patricia (William Gehringer), Michael J. Lenhart and David A. Lenhart (Dianne). She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
Viewing was held on Wednesday, September 25th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Carlucci-Golden-DeSantis Funeral Home (318 E Drinker St, Dunmore, PA 18512). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, September 26th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the St. Paul's Church (1510 Penn Ave, Scranton, PA 18509).
