He was predeceased by: his wife Ruth Ann Capouci; his parents, Donald "AB" Edwards and Alice Evans Edwards; and his siblings, Donald and Margaret Saylock (George).

He is survived by: his daughters, Janice Edwards Kizer (Andrew) of Moosic, Lisa Edwards and Russell Roberts; and his granddaughters, Hailey Kizer of Moosic and Melanie Edwards of Archbald. He is also survived by aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews and loving relatives.
