It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Danny Higgins of Dunmore, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 20, 2024, at the age of 51, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Higgins and Mary Clare Foley Higgins; his grandmother Margaret Foley; and his uncles, Thomas, Tim Foley and Frank Mawn.
He is survived by: his siblings, Shannon Hopkins (Brad), Jamie Higgins (Michelle) of Jessup and Tim Higgins (Cheryl) of Avoca; his nephews, Michael Higgins (Alexandra) of Throop, Drew of Jessup, Timmy, Brennan, Colin and Bodie of Avoca; his great-niece Emma Higgins of Throop; his aunts and uncles, Judy Mawn of Dunmore, Annie Yauch (John) of Verona, NJ, Sally Mastri (Tom), Mary Gilhooley (Jim), Jack Foley (Sarah) of Factoryville, James Foley (Mary) of Factoryville, Jerome Foley of Pocono Pines and Joseph Foley of Scranton; and his close friends, Matt D'Angelo and Tommy Herron.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Carlucci-Golden-DeSantis Funeral Home (318 E Drinker St, Dunmore, PA 18512). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
