She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael Valko and Anna Valko (Lucas); her husband Stanley D. "Boots" Thrower; her son Robert S. Thrower; and her siblings, Mary Jenkins, Helen Kudrick, Anna Mihalick, Pauline Valko, John, Michael, Andrew, Joseph, Steve, George, Peter and William Valko.

She is survived by: her sons, Joseph J. (Ruth Ann) and David M. (Terri L.); her granddaughter Kate E. (Joel Springer); her great grandchildren, Harper and Cruz; her stepgranddaughter Theresa (Bert Heyn); and also, Conner and Cade. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
