It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Karen A. Pleva of Duncansville, Pennsylvania, born in Altoona, Pennsylvania, who passed away on March 18, 2023, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael Maier and Shirley Maier (Gibney). She is survived by: her husband Bob; her children, Jill Dodson (Gary) and Matthew Pleva (Shelley); her grandsons, Blake and Luke Pleva; and her siblings, Linda Repko (Larry), Sandy Steiner (John), Sharon Albarano (Bob), Michael Maier (Loane), Jeff Maier (Jan) and Mark Maier (Laura).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be sent to a local charity of your choice, or to Central Pa.
