With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Julie Pohar of Duncansville, Pennsylvania, born in Carroll, Iowa, who passed away on January 28, 2023 at the age of 48. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Edwin, Leona Dopheide and Leota Pudenz. She is survived by: her parents, Gerald Dopheide and Mary Pudenz Dopheide; her husband Darrin Pohar; her children, Maxwell and Sidney Pohar; her pet Finley; her sisters, Jill Dopheide, Jenna Kanne (Nick) and Jodi Rupiper (Matt); her brother-in-law Drew Pohar (Stephanie); and her parents-in-law, Chuck, Pam Pohar, Carson, Gavin, Ross Kanne, Taylor, Riley Pohar, Brylee, Taelyn, Gage and Jonathon Rupiper.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in Julie's name may be made sent to Penn State Thon for Childhood Cancer at thon.org.
