She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Geroskie and Helen Geroskie (Jingeleskie); her son Jeffrey Skupien; her former husband Joseph Smychynsky; her husband Leo Skupien; and her siblings, Alexandria Zawacki, Nellie Datsko, Roseanne Koss, Genieve Evans, Rita Geroskie, Edward Geroskie and Henry Geroskie.
She is survived by: her children, Joseph Smychynsky (Connie) of Duncansville, Sharon Schmitt (Dale Hoffman) of Duncansville, David Smychynsky of Duncansville and Gregory Skupien (Jennifer) of Huntsville, Alabama; and her grandchildren, Timothy Smychynsky of Hollidaysburg, Shelly Hall (Daryl) of Duncansville, Kelly Mellott (Wade) of Duncansville, Jessica of Huntsville, Alabama, Jacob of Huntsville, Alabama and Ashley Skupien of Huntsville, Alabama. She is also survived by seven great grandchildren; and one great-great granddaughter.
