He was predeceased by: his parents, Ward H. Rice Jr. and Ruth. He is survived by: his wife Julia (Goshorn); his daughter Susan Sultzaberger (Shawn) of Duncannon; his grandchildren, Sarah E. Sultzaberger of Duncannon, Morgan E. Rice of Tempe and Jeremy M. Sultzaberger of Duncannon; and his siblings, Lillian Kistler (Joe) and John Rice (Ann).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Duncannon Sportsmen Association in Ward's memory, 9 Pine Tree Drive, Duncannon, PA 17020 and/or to the Speranza Animal Rescue in Mechanicsburg, PA, as Ward loved his pets maybe even more than his people.
