He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Shadle and Alma Shadle (Bordner); his siblings, Charles M. Shadle, Sr., Clarence Shadle, Margaret Rhoads, Dorothy Shadle and Carrie Wevodau; and his brother-in-law John Wolfe.
He is survived by: his siblings, Barbara Gordy, Karen Clouser (Fred) and James "Jim" Shadle. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
