He was predeceased by: his parents, John A. and Hazel Murray, Sr. (Lohr). He is survived by: his siblings, John Murray (Jack) and Mary Rohrbaugh of Mechanicsburg, PA.; his wife Arlene Murray (Gates) of Duncannon; and his children, Eileen Bruner (Steve) of Mechanicsburg, Charlene Owen (Steve) of Duncannon and Richard Murray (Barbara) of Mechanicsburg.
