She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Woods and Sara Woods (McGuire); her spouse Merle H. Bruce, Sr.; her granddaughter Anna Bruce-Smith; and her brother Paul A. Woods.
She is survived by: her children, Merle H. Bruce, Jr. (Barbara) of Glen Allen, VA, Stephen E. Bruce (Lana) of Newport and Tammy L. Groft (John) of Marysville; her granddaughters, Sarah, Catherine and Julianne; her great grandchildren, Chloe, Zola and Landon; her stepgrandchildren, Deanna and John; her stepgreat-grandson Kobi; her sister Veletta Miller of New Bloomfield; and her sister-in-law Elizabeth Woods of Elizabethville.
