He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles M. Getz and Beatrice Getz (Schlegel); and his brother Ronald Getz. He is survived by: his wife Maribeth Getz (Ludwig); his son Matthew Getz; his close friend Jessica Senft; and his granddaughters, Naomi and Adriel Getz.
