He is survived by: his wife Darlene Smith (Kisner); his children, Billie Jo Strom (Joshua Strom), Joe L. Smith Junior (Christy Smith) and Kristopher H. Smith Senior; his sisters, Bonnie Simmons (Dale Simmons), Patricia Ford and Nancy Hiddemen; his grandchildren, Keisha Farrell, Christian Smith, Colton Smith, Kristopher Smith Junior, Katelyn Smith and Blake Kitzmiller; his great grandchildren, Nevaeh, Ryan and Aria; and his nephew Mitchell Hiddemen.
