She was predeceased by: her parent Arthur C.; her siblings, Rosezelma Eileen Louden, Joanne Bornman, Betty Billow, Bob Bingaman, Thomas L. Alander, Marlin Alander, Frank Alander, Carl C. Alander and Dalbert L. Alander; and her former husband Daniel G. Bornman.

She is survived by: her parent Sarah Elizabeth Alander (Corwell); her children, Howard L. Smith, James H. Smith and June L. Foret of Houma, LA; and her siblings, Rosezelma Oesterling, Jane Seabold and Lynn A. Alander. She is also survived by her seven grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
