Shunk Jr. (Duncannon, Pennsylvania), born in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, who passed away on May 6, 2020, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Shunk Sr. and Reba Shunk (Stahl); his former wife Laura Shunk (Cain); and his siblings, Cyrus Shunk and Nancy Smith (Shunk).
He is survived by: his wife Carol Shunk of Duncannon; his children, George R. Shunk III (Sally) of Duncannon, Laura K. Weldon (Rod Spicher) of Elizabethville, Edward B. Shunk (Jan) of Mechanicsburg, Charles S. Shunk (Diane) of Newport, Kathleen A. Huss of Duncannon and Bonnie S. Horanic (Mike) of Duncannon; and his stepdaughter Tina M. Grub (Dennis) of Enola. He is also survived by ten brothers and sisters, thirteen grandchildren, five great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
In lieu of flowers the family would like contributions to be made to the Duncannon Senior Center, or Grane Hospice of Camp Hill, Pennsylvania in his memory.
