He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward W. Deiter, Sr. and Ruth L. Deiter (May); his wife Fae L. Deiter (Spease); his daughter Ruth Marie Moore; his brother Edward W. Deiter, Jr.; and his great grandchild Ryker L. Wright.
He is survived by: his children, Melissa Jumper (Len) of Duncannon, Donna Foose (Ron) of Duncannon and Eric Deiter (Jacquelyn) of Mifflintown; his stepchildren, Debra Pressley (George) of Heflin, GA, Kim Maguire of Harrisburg, Josie Saussaman of Littlestown and Len Maguire, Jr. (Carol) of McAlisterville; and his son-in-law Larry Moore of Harrisburg. He is also survived by his many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
