He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick H. Hoffman and Pearl Hoffman (Tressler); and his siblings, Gene Hoffman and Doris Vance. He is survived by: his wife Deborah K. Hoffman (Raub); his sons, Jamieson L. Hoffman (Josie) of Duncannon and Frederick A. Hoffman (Kelly) of Louisville, KY; his sisters, Alice Walsh (Ken) of Carlisle and Renee Swartz of Mechanicsburg; and his grandchildren, Nathaniel Hoffman, Isabelle Hoffman and Andrew Hoffman.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Clair's honor may be made to the Perry County Animal Rescue, 379 Sugar Run Road, Millerstown, PA 17062.
