He was predeceased by: his parents, H. Paul Sheaffer and Mabel F. Sheaffer (Miller); his daughter Judith A. Sheaffer; his brother Richard Sheaffer; and his son-in-law Shawn Clugston.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Jane (Foster); his children, Scott A. Sheaffer (Susan) and Wendy A. Clugston; his grandchildren, Morgan Sheaffer, Nathaniel Clugston and Zachary Clugston; and his siblings, Shelby Raub, Dennis Sheaffer (Janet) and Charles Sheaffer (Nancyann).
