He was predeceased by: his son James W. "L. B." Junk Herbert; and his brothers, Jeffrey Junk and Donald Herbert. He is survived by: his parents, James Jr. Junk and Ida Pearl Junk (Keffer); his wife Alverta Herbert (Chaney); his son Emmert "Doodles" Herbert; his grandchildren, Alanna, Wesson, Arliss, Holden and Cohen Herbert; his aunts and uncles, Phyllis Lowther, Jean Dye, Lois Wahler (Jerry) and Robert Junk (Maryann); his cousins, Delores and Donna Eyring; and his close friends, Bea and Ken Washington. He is also survived by numerous other family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 3:30 PM at the Paul G. Fink Funeral Home, Inc. (418 Pittsburgh St, Connellsville, PA 15425). A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
