She was predeceased by: her parents, John Nicholson and Anna Miller Nicholson; and her brothers, Hobert and Ellsworth Nicholson. She is survived by: her husband Alvie Paul Sumey; and her sons, John Wilbert Faust (Mayme) of Yorktown and Donald Wayne Faust (Carole) of Harmony. She is also survived by five grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren, one great great grandchild and a sister-in-law.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions are suggested to the Dunbar Baptist Church, 22 1st Street , Dunbar, PA. or to the Grace Baptist Church, 227 Little Summit Road, Dunbar, Pa. in memory of Bessie Mae Sumey.
