He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Joseph Palankey and Mary Elizabeth Palankey (Mulac); his wife Donna Jean Palankey (Rhodes); and his uncle Edward R. Palankey. He is survived by: his children, Lisa Palankey Joseph of Connellsville, Skip Palankey (Jody) of Connellsville and Lynne May (Charlie) of Connellsville; his grandchildren, Connor Palankey, Justine Haines (Christopher) and Lauren May; his great grandchildren, Harper of Connellsville and Hadley Haines of Connellsville; and his girlfriend Karen Leighty of Dunbar.
