He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Lafferty and Violet Bennett Lafferty; his former wife Evelyn G. Tobin; his daughter Rita Mae Ruttan; and his granddaughter Sophia Grace Metzler.
He is survived by: his wife Delores Lafferty of Duke Center; his children, Patricia Shinaberger (John) of Bradford, Lois Allen of West Branch, MI, Barbara Songer (Dale) of Bradford, Peggy Hoak of Bradford, Mickey Monroe (Dave) of Middletown, VA and Dana Lafferty (Samantha) of Marshburg; his stepsons, Steve Bennett (Alice) of Duke Center and Andy Bennett (Penny) of Franklin; and his siblings, Bruce Lafferty of McSherrystown and Cheryl Bhe of Leon, NY. He is also survived by twenty-nine great grandchildren; seven great great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family has asked for memorial contributions in his memory to be made to the Hilltop Baptist Church, P.O. Box 76, Gifford, PA 16732.
