He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Helen H. Shaffer (Heiser); his parents, William R. Shaffer and Florence C. Shaffer (Force); his children, Stephen R. Shaffer (Karen Walters) of DuBoistown and Stacey S. Bray (Scott) of Bridgewater, N. J.; his grandchildren, Madison and John 'Jack Bray; his stepgrandchildren, Kolby and Konner Lohman; and his brothers, David Shaffer (Marianne) of New Jersey, William Shaffer (Patricia) of Colorado and John Shaffer of Pennsylvania.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Stephen's name to the Lycoming County SPCA 2805 Reach Road, Williamsport, PA 17701.
