Shaffer of Duboistown, Pennsylvania, born in South Williamsport, Pennsylvania, whose life came to an end on June 27, 2024 at the age of 95, leaving behind cherished memories. She was predeceased by : her husband Stewart A. "Pud" Shaffer; her parents, John E. and Mary E. Swinehart (Nunneville); her sons, Charles S. Shaffer and Paul E. Shaffer; her grandchildren, Dalton Grove, Melinda Bower and Paul Lehnig; and her siblings, Charles, William, George, John Swinehart, Helen Shipman, Ester Thomas, Florence King and Joan Collins.

She is survived by : her children, Joyce S. Wagner (David) of Linden, Carol A. Homler (John) of Jersey Shore, Mary E. Lehnig of South Williamsport, Stella M. Bower (Paul), Donald E. Shaffer (Tobi) of Washington and Gale I. Grove (Bret) of Cogan Station; her sisters, Sarah Howlett of Williamsport and Huldah King of Williamsport; and her daughters-in-law, Brenda Shaffer of Pennsdale and Debra Shaffer of South Williamsport. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren.
