He was predeceased by: his wife Marie E. Gatsche (Nittinger); his parents, Walter F. Gatsche Sr. and Florence A. Gatsche (Lockard); and his brother Walter F. Gatsche Jr. A. He is survived by: his children, Max A. Gatsche Jr. (Diana) of Elizabethtown, KY, Mark A. Gatsche (Denise) of Picture Rocks and Melinda A. Banghart (David) of Muncy; his grandchildren, Max, Tyler, Dominic, Filomena, Justine, Brandon, Janelle, Amanda and Kasondra; his great grandchildren, Alex, Sophia, Rebecca, Parker, Londyn, Brody and Sloanne; and his sister Anna D. Evans of Stroudsburg.
