He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles E. DeLong and Mary DeLong (Duttry); his former wife Barbara (Bailey); his daughter Pamela Pavlik; his brothers, Francis "Bud", James and Charles, Jr.; his stepson-in-law Wayne Merrill; and his stepson William Sherman.
He is survived by: his son William DeLong (Christine) of DuBois; and his stepdaughters, Barbara Merrill of Lancaster and Cynthia Zents (Allen) of Brookville. He is also survived by ten grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren and several special nieces and nephews.
