He was predeceased by: his mother Helen Williams. He is survived by: his wife Ruth Fye (Maines); and his children, Harold Fye (Nancy), Robert L. Fye Jr. (Kimberly) and Wendy Setzer (Barry) of Palmerton, PA. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.

Memorial donations may be made to the organization of the donor's choice.
