He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Wilcox and Nora Wilcox (Snell); and his siblings, Virginia Hamilton (Harold), George Wilcox (Shirley) and Dorothy Moriority (James).
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy June Rearick; his children, Joseph Wilcox, Jr. (Billie Ann) and Linda London (Darwin); his grandchildren, Nancy Shell (Scott), Amy Ward (Ryan), Eric London, Laura Vetere (Brian) and Lindsey Bernardo (Nate); his great grandchildren, Colin, Matthew Shell, Alexis, Caroline Ward, Nadia, Geno Vetere, Bentley and Lincoln Bernardo; and his siblings-in-law, Bill Rearick (Cappy) and Mary Rearick Minges (Ron). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Although flowers are appreciated, the family would prefer memorial donations be made in Joe's name to the Hahne Cancer Center, 100 Hospital Avenue, DuBois or to Christ Lutheran Church, 875 Sunflower Drive, DuBois.
