He was predeceased by: his parents, Franklin E. "Frank" Boyer and Bessie C. Boyer (Gearhart); and his son Brock Boyer. He is survived by: his wife Maria Boyer (Kopp); his daughter Brianna Smith; and his grandchildren, David, Olivia Boyer, Nolan Youngdahl and Logan Smith. He is also survived by three siblings.
