He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Gearhart and Mercea Gearhart (Bennett); and his sisters, Shirley and Judy. He is survived by: his wife Patricia J. Sunderlin; his grandchildren, Paul, Joe, Alix, Lennon and Josh; his great grandchild Eli Christopher; and his sister Pat (John). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
