He was predeceased by : his parents, Frank Hoch and Blanche Hoch (Dull); his daughter Patricia L. Corle; his son-in-law Bradley Corle; and his siblings, Eugene, Robert, William, James, Earl Hoch, Irene Hoch and Almeda Hoch O'Ship.

He is survived by : his wife Myra G. Hoch (Shaffer); and his daughters, Susan Britton (Mark) and Linda Painter (Fred) of Woodleaf, NC. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and 11 great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Friday, July 5th 2024 from 5:45 PM to 8:00 PM at the Adamson Funeral Chapel (1312 Chestnut Ave, DuBois, PA 15801). A funeral service was held on Saturday, July 6th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
