He is survived by: his wife Myra G. Hoch (Shaffer); and his daughters, Susan Britton (Mark) and Linda Painter (Fred) of Woodleaf, NC. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and 11 great-great-grandchildren.
