He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul J. Eck and Betty Marie Eck (Mohr). He is survived by: his wife Nancy D. Eck (Griffaton); his children, William Eck (Katrina), Misty Eck, Carrie Tarlton (Larry), Shawn Tobin (Kathleen), Michael Tobin (Caroline) and Keith Tobin (Tara); and his siblings, Dennis Eck (Terry), Ronald Skidmore (Vicki), Sharon Mohr (Phil) and Terri Frick (Edward). He is also survived by eleven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
