He is survived by: his spouse Ann Kopyscianski; his sons, Joseph Michael Stavinski (Amber) of Berwick and John Stavinski of Northumberland; and his grandchildren, Lori Johnson (Stavinski), Dean and Tiffany Leyda (Stavinski).

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Brady Fire Company, 700 Maple Street, Ranshaw 17866.
